We are totally heartbroken as a result of the loss of one of our star students. Adam came to us when he was only 5 years old with his dad Brad who is one of our senior instructors. In his early days we all came to truly understand the meaning of two Tenets of Taekwon-do, perseverance and self-control as Adam was quite a handful when he first joined us.
Over the years, Adam grew up before our very eyes and became a student who strived for perfection. On July 13th we tested Adam for his Second Degree Black Belt and with his performance he passed with flying colours. We were privileged and honoured to share that journey with him.
The unofficial motto of your club is "It's not all about kicking high". Adam did not seem to have much regard for that, as everything he did was to his highest ability. He persevered until it was right. He was a great mentor to our younger students and he instilled in them his zest to do better. As instructors we were, and will continue to be inspired by his energy, his constant smile, his eagerness to instruct and his kindness to others.
He will be dearly missed by all Tecumseh Taekwon-do and will never be forgotten. Thank your Brad and Martina for sharing Adam with us all through the years. The young man we lost is a credit to you both.
Love always,
Tecumseh Taekwon-do Family
